About Aud Lesperance

Aud studied at Notre Dame Academy under SCAD Alumni Megan Lentz in International Baccalaureate Higher Level Visual Arts both Junior and Senior years of Highschool. As required by the International Baccalaureate Higher Level Visual Arts Program Aud produced and presented their first Art Exhibition at 18 years old. They created over 11 fine arts works of varying mediums for their Exhibition in the span of a year and a half. Their curriculum consisted of varying skill levels in all subjects from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, from Theory of Knowledge, World literature, History of the Americas, Physics and Environmental Sciences, etc. Aud graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program with a 3.8 overall GPA. (On a 4.0 scale.)

They were accepted to Savannah College of Art & Design in April 2019. During this period of time in-between semesters Aud traveled the Southern United States cosplaying various characters from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege; most notably Taina Pereira “Caveira”. As an Atlanta native they moved to Savannah and began studying on the Savannah College of Art & Design Savannah Campus for foundation studies. During their studies they simultaneously began content creation focusing on hobbies like cosplay, gaming, streaming, and their studies. This love for digital media helped Aud decide to focus on Game Development and Design as their Major at Savannah College of Art and Design. Aud traveled to Montreal, Quebec, with friends and family to attend the Ubisoft Rainbow Six Siege Invitationals E-Sports Conference in Cosplay in 2020. This attendance just confirmed their love for the Cosplay, E-Sports, and Gaming Community all surrounding one game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Aud became very inspired that so much can revolve around a single video game; connections, friends, creativity, positivity and of course love for a game.

After much consideration and completing most foundation studies, Aud decided to move back to Atlanta, and study on the Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta Campus. This is where they met Professor Chin-Cheng Hung in a Life Drawing Class. Aud fell in love with the Traditional Mediums and skillset taught by Professor Hung. Leading them to a Drawing Minor heavily focused on the human form, studying both Life Drawing and Portraiture. Which easily were Aud’s favourite classes in their entire degree. From there Aud met several Professors at the Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta Campus who focused in Sequential and Digital Arts. During this time Aud also decided to focus on the Sequential Arts, in order to go forward with a Concept Art for Games Minor.

Throughout their degree they focused on Game Design and Development in multiple different areas including Game Art, Conceptual Illustration, 3D Digital Sculpting both Creatures and Characters, UV Texturing and many more skills. Aud focused on a skillset they liked as they developed their Degree, favouring 3D Digital Sculpting, UV unwrapping and texturing, Game Art, Game Design, and Conceptual Aspects like Characters, Props and Environment. As seen in their Portfolio, SCAD pushes all Savannah College of Art and Design Game Design and Development students to attempt world, character and prop building. This way each student is exposed to all different aspects of Game Design and Development to ensure they find their niche. Aud is heavily focused on First Person Shooter games both in Hobbies like Cosplay and in a Professional Atmosphere Game Design and Development Environment. As a Cosplayer Aud focuses on smaller details that every character Design includes. As a Designer and Developer Aud focused in their degree on including these smaller details pushing themself to create everything with a deeper meaning. In March of 2025 Aud Lesperance Graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Game Design and Development with a Minor in Drawing and Concept Art for Games.
